As we step into 2026, we wanted to mark it with something meaningful, something that reflects exactly what Komuna stands for: togetherness, community, and the joy of sharing coffee.
We are excited to introduce our newest piece of merch: Mexican Hygge T-Shirt.
This t-shirt was inspired by a special moment we shared with Juan Zapata, when we visited his farm in the jungle of Veracruz, Mexico.
He shared every detail of his love for farming, the challenges and obstacles he faces (this will be a newsletter of its own), and we shared how important coffee is in Denmark, and how much our community appreciates his coffee.
This t-shirt was designed by Emilie Klint,the artist who has been with Komuna since the beginning. If one day you find yourself walking around Den Røde Plads in Nørrebro, take a second to look at the signature under the big mural. Yes, that's her.
Because it is meant to be worn with pleasure, it is a heavy fabric, 180 gsm, of 100% organic cotton from Stanley/Stella.
